Chelsey Minnis

Chelsey Minnis grew up in Denver, Colorado. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for her undergraduate degree in English and the Iowa Writer’s workshop for her MFA in creative writing. Her book Zirconia won the Alberta book prize from Fence books in 2001. She also had a small chapbook published with Seeing Eye Books called Foxina. Her second book will be forthcoming from Fence Books in the fall of 2007. She has done various poetry readings in various places including Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, La Jolla, Boise, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, New York City, and Provincetown. Her work has appeared in publications such as Fence Magazine and Faucheuse.
