Jake Adam York
Jake Adam York is an assistant professor of English and Creative Writing at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center. He is the author of Murder Ballads (Elixir 2005), a contributing editor for Shenandoah: The Washington and Lee Review, as well as the editor of Thicket, a journal of Alabama literature, and a poetry editor for storySouth, an online journal dedicated to the literature of the American South. His work has been twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and his poems have appeared in Shenandoah, The Southern Review, Quarterly West, GulfCoast, The Greensboro Review, Poetry Daily, Blackbird, and many other journals.
