Jen Bervin

Jen Bervin, poet and visual artist, was born in Dubuque, Iowa, in 1972. Her books include A Non- Breaking Space (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2005), Nets (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2004), and Under What Is Not Under (2001). Her current and upcoming exhibitions include “Five Contemporary Visual Poets” at The Wright Exhibition Space in Seattle and “Many Happy Returns” at High Energy Constructs in Los Angeles. She teaches at New York University, Pratt Institute, and is an editor for jubilat. She lives in Brooklyn and is currently a fellow at The Camargo Foundation in Cassis, France.
