Originally from Newark, NJ, Kyle G. Dargan is a member of American University’s Creative Writing faculty as well as a master’s student in Arts Management. His first book, The Listening, won the 2003 Cave Canem Prize and his poems have appeared in Callaloo, Denver Quarterly, Ploughshares, Shenandoah, and other publications.
